3 Years!

Gus and I have been married 3 years today! We decided to start a tradition where we alternate making each other a special dinner for our anniversary. On our first anniversary we were somewhere camping in the middle of the North Cascades so we just started doing this last year. Gus made a very nice pork and apple dish over rice for his turn....I made a steak, pear, and blue cheese wrap for mine. It's probably the only time of year where we actually try a new recipe.

I have some really cute patients who tell me they've been married 70+ years and they bring pictures of when they were young. They are all nearly deaf which I figure is probably the secret to a long lasting marriage! Gus said the other day that the last three years have been the longest of his life. I pretended I didn't hear him :)
