Tough Decisions

Need some help with a tough decision. June 10th is turning out to be a hot date this year. I have the choice between attending my 10 year high school reunion.....or going to a good friend's wedding which is being held on a cruise yacht. The high school reunion could be very entertaining if Nelly Furtado shows up, and I would definitely wear some I LOVE NELLY paraphernalia in her honor with complete sincerity. But on the other hand, the idea of spending 4 hours in a high school gym with cheap canadian beer and possibly a few hundred people I don't remember isn't very appealing. Plus I've been boycotting Victoria for their continued lack of raw sewage treatment. The fact that the city came close to electing someone who ran the race dressed up as a turd named "Mr Floatie" might allow me to ethically forget my boycott for 2 days. If the high school reunion was being held on a yacht, then my decision might be easier....except for all the floatie's in the water...

Michelle Myers is the host of the Friday night variety mix on KEXP 90.3 in Seattle. She is brilliant. And if you have a social life unlike me, you can always listen to her shows on streaming archives. Prince, Jimi Hendrix, The Gossip, Black Angels, Franz Ferdinand....she can do no wrong...and her voice is like butter.
